Time Line

My project is about Gang violence, I chose to make posters and banners to put up around my neighborhood I chose this because I can not only tell my class about this problem but I can tell the WHOLE neighborhood about it. Also getting things to sell and raise money for wood's home foundation; the wood's home foundation is a place that helps troubled kids and families though the hard times. Also I am making posters with pulley things so I have proof that someone has look at the posters. I'm making a chain mail to send around and have people sign it, so that could be my proof for that. Last but no least I'm selling pencils and I will take pictures of people holding the pencils so that proofs that they bough them and all that jazz.

GANG VIOLENCE

Why do I care?
I care about this because it's a problem, it kills people. It's not fair that people who don't have a good life and don't get a good education, housing, job, etc. should join gangs. To me it creates more problems then if they didn't join a gang.

Why should others care?
Others should care because we need to keep peace in our societies; not violence. Also because I want people to feel safe at night; and not for mafias to start. The other reason is less people will die from drugs, alcohol, shootings, etc. and people wont get assaulted or beat up by gangs.

What can I do?
I can start fundraising for food, shelter, education, so we can prevent people joining gangs. Also advising people so they know that this is a major problem; so we can finally take action. We can make our world a safer place!

Evidence
1. Telling people that Gang violence is a problem
2. Planing Ideas to show more people why its important to
fix this problem
3. Still working on it!
4. Researched about gangs, so I could have more background knowledge on gangs

Online Homework

Do computers give us more human connections or fewer human connections?
I think it gives us more human connection. To me it makes more people talk to others then usual, cause people are either shy or they aren't every connected. Since people have started to talk online with a mic. or even just typing, some people don't even like talking about their opinions in reality, but now seems easier to talk around people on computers, so why not in real life?

Create five rules on manners and ethics for the Internet.
1. Don't write your real full name or post pictures of you on the Internet for just random people to see.
2. Never be offensive or rude to others.
3. Remember in spite of having a password to protect your privacy online, nothing is hidden and it can always be seen.
4. Don't put or express bad things or bad languages on anything.
5. Never see or do things that you aren't suppose to be looking at or doing.

Should teachers encourage or discourage multitasking?
I think they should discourage multitasking, because its a known fact that it makes you slower, but it doesn't mean that you can't or you won't finish your work; your just slower at doing it, which to me is fine, as long as that person finishes that work.
